The house of the Spanish poet Miguel de Unamuno
In March 1924, during the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera, was exiled Miguel de Unamuno on the island of Fuerteventura. The 5- month stay on the island of Unamuno used by some of the best on Fuerteventura write sonnets.
Miguel de Unamuno , the museum is located in the center of the ancient Puerto de Cabras and recalls the remarkable passage of the poet in Fuerteventura. The building is designed like a home of 20 years, much like the house Unamuno. The museum is decorated with the original including the poet's desk, on that probably some of his famous sonnets have emerged, and with his rocking chair on which he liked to follow the press love to read about the political situation of the Spanish mainland.
The visit of the museum provides an insight into both the works of famous philosophers, as well as the opportunity to let the scent of wood work on the era and to examine the utensils, such as typewriters and phonographs . On the walls of the museum you will find some photographs of Fuerteventura from the perspective of the poet.
